Reason for Nomination

Anne’s passion and enthusiasm about diabetes is infectious. She has trained over 6000 HCPs nationally and delivers 60+ courses a year. She has designed and written foundation, advanced, CPD and bespoke courses for police custody and mental health nurses, care home teams and more. She has supported practice teams, mentored individuals, treated patients and been at the forefront of redesigning diabetes service provision. Anne’s aim for patients living with Diabetes has always been to improve the quality of care both as a healthcare professional, but also in her training role. She focuses on ensuring that patient safety and outcomes are integral to everything.
