Dr Cedric Banfield FRCP

Dr Cedric Banfield is a consultant dermatologist in Peterborough. He inspired and facilitated his colleagues to train as GPwSIs and under his Clinical Governance has enabled the significant growth of our community GPwSI derm service since 2003.

This community dermatology service now serves a population throughout Cambridgeshire. He has also supported several colleagues in converting to GPwERs allowing us to train the next generation. Simultaneously, he has maintained his full time NHS consultant role, single handedly running the dermatology service at Hinchingbrooke Hospital for many years before joining the team at Peterborough Hospital.
