Chin is a GP partner in Cheltenham. She completed the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology and also the Cardiff dermoscopy course in 2011, and was invited to stay on and teach on the forums afterwards. She did this for 8 years for DPD, and continues to do so for the dermoscopy course.
She is an executive committee member for the primary care dermatology society (PCDS), and also the PCDS dermoscopy lead (and collector of dermatoscopes)
Outside of work, she is a keen crafter, crocheting jewellery, sewing, and making greetings cards
