A Quality in Care award means an initiative has been recognised by the NHS, patient and industry as improving patient experience, standards of care and outcomes

Who can enter?
Entries are invited from anyone working in the dermatology arena throughout the UK and Ireland. Whatever the area of patient care, if your initiative or programme relates to dermatology in any way, you should enter it. Judges are keen to review a wide spectrum of entries.
What work is eligible?
For all entry categories the initiatives must have been undertaken in the last 5 years (Jan 2019 – December 2023)
It is essential that applicants explain how their initiative is different and innovative compared with others.
Results are essential, and those without results could be marked down by the judges. Supporting materials are not part of the initial judging process.

Who are the judges?
Each entry will be reviewed by a multi-disciplinary panel of leading experts in dermatology care.
When is the shortlist announced?
Shortlisted entries will be announced on www.qualityincare.org/dermatology after judging day.
Judging day will be held on 20 June 2024.
When are the winners announced?
Finalists will be notified by Friday 28 June and invited to the awards ceremony, which will take place on 5th September in a face to face setting. Venue to be confirmed
